The Caucus for Women in Statistics and Data Science (CWS), the Portuguese Statistical Society (SPE), and the American Statistical Association (ASA) proudly announced the launching of the International Day for Women in Statistics and Data Science (IDWSDS) with its first annual celebration event on October 11, 2022.

The first four events were successful and well received. CWS will continue this annual event for the celebration of women statisticians and data scientists around the world. We are grateful to our sponsors, keynote presenters, invited speakers, volunteers, and attendees who made the 2025 conference a great success! If you would like to view sessions from the conference they will be posted on YouTube in the CWS channel.

Mark your calendar for the 2026 conference which will be held virtually on October 6, 2026 and hosted by CWS. In the coming months we will post the conference theme and schedule for submitting abstracts.
